STATEMENT OF ADEQUATE NOTICE:

ROLL CALL:            Clerk will call the Roll

WORKSHOP:

I.         Proposed Ordinance-Final review of draft and comments from council and recreation commissioners.

II.        Cooperative Efforts-Establish a plan how council, commissioners, borough manager and recreation secretary can work together through this transition.

III.      Letters of Interest-After the ordinance is introduced, we will be requesting formal letters of interest for those who would like to be appointed to the recreation committee upon final passage of the ordinance.

IV.       Planning the Upcoming Months-Establish a plan for hiring of recreation director and summer help; define the legalities, timing and logistics of how that can happen.

          A. Park Director (to be reclassified as Recreation Director)

B. Summer help-Advertise for all summer positions, including swim team coaches, swim lesson 

instructors, snack bar personnel, front desk workers, lifeguards, maintenance crew, pool supervisor.

V.       Recreation Programs-Discuss combined efforts to keep recreation programs in tact and running during this transitional period.
